Lola (2022) by Andrew Legge , presented at the 17th edition of the Rome Film Fest, is a Science Fiction entirely centered on an elusive Found Footage of two English sisters. Photographed in excellent black and white, worthy of Gordon Willis , the film has several good points, some tasty ironic points, but fails to stand up for the duration.

In the late 1930s, sisters Thomasina ( Emma Appleton ) and Martha ( Stefanie Martini ) invent a pseudo-television device capable of intercepting radio waves from the future. In particular, they discover the rebel music of the following decades ( Bob Dylan , David Bowie ), but with the advent of the Second World War, the machinery becomes a useful tool as a weapon of espionage, especially against Nazism. Many lives will be saved, but history could change for the worse.
