Incantation on Netflix, what is it about?
This Taiwanese horror film, released on July 8, 2022 on Netflix and directed by Kevin Kro, tells the story of Lee Jo-nan a young mother who, six years ago, was struck by a curse. She had broken a religious taboo. Today Lee Jo-nan, played by Hsuan-yen Tsai, has a little girl, and the curse will try to attack the family. The mother will have to protect her child, while fighting against the demons that come to visit her. A rather appealing pitch that reminds us a little of the plot of Insidious, where a father transmits to his son without wanting it a gift that will push him to the gates of hell.
